PESCANOVA MAKES PROFITS OF 25.7 MILLION EUROS IN 2008
Profits for 2008 increased by 3% over the previous year.
Pescanova, the Vigo-based multinational company, last year made a net profit of 25.7 million euros, representing an increase of 3% on 2007. Turnover in 2008 increased by 4% to 1.343 million euros. A dividend for shareholders of 0.45 euros per share was declared and payout was approved at the General Shareholders’ Meeting.
EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) in 2008 were 138.4 million euros, representing an increase of 13% on the previous year.
